Let's find out what a Medierranean Thanksgiving looks like. |
Well, no surprises here--turkey as it should be. Our Norwegian friend
Tron and some of his friends baked and carved the turkey. Tron says
Norwegians normally do turkey over the holidays as well. |
April and I had our hand at baking the pies. I did the apple ones, and
she did the Pumpkin ones. Eating pumpkin pie was a first for many of
our international friends. |
Here are some shots of our friends who celebrated with us. |

Here April's talking with one of our new friends, Geetu. He's Indian
and a fellow Christian. We've been learning lots from each other
discussing our faith from Eastern and Western points of view. He's very
involved in India helping to reform the educational system there. |

The turkey began to take its effect. |

Claudia discovered The Limbo Song in our collection of music (Where? I
don't know.). She got a broom from the closet, and there we were doing
the limbo! |
|
Not quite a traditional Thanksgiving afternoon of watching college
football, our friends had some salsa CDs and began dancing and teaching
each other how to dance salsa and other latin dances. |
